That’s 4 times the resolution as the standard CIF resolution. At least 2CIF is required to take full advantage of today’s high resolution cameras. Premium DVRs
The Hawk Eye Premium DVR is an enterprise class digital video recorder utilizing H.264 hardware compression DSPs. The Hawk Eye Premium DVR can push real-time video and audio recording at CIF resolution on every channel or 7.5 FPS at a full 4CIF(D1) resolution on every channel.

Standard DVRs
The Hawk Eye Standard 4 is the same as our Hawk Eye Premium 4 DVR except it holds one SATA Hard Drive (Instead of 4) and no internal DVD burner, you can backup video using the USB or through the network
